Stephen Johns
Stephen Johns was organ scholar at Trinity College, Cambridge. He has worked for over thirty years as a classical record producer, and was Vice-President, Artists and Repertoire at EMI Classics. His recordings have received numerous international accolades including four Grammy Awards and five Gramophone Awards. Stephen joined the Royal College of Music in 2010 in the newly created role of Artistic Director.
Stephen was Guest Artistic Director of the Spitalfields Festival in Winter 2000, and was a member of the Spitalfields Artistic Committee for some years. He is a Trustee both of NMC Recordings, Cambridge University Musical Society, and Artistic Director of the Klosters Winter Festival.
