Stuart James is an award-winning Western Australian-based composer, performer, sound designer, audio engineer, and producer. Specialising in spatial audio, spectral synthesis, and wave terrain synthesis, his compositional work integrates both acoustic and electronic instruments. Commissioned and performed by the ABC, WASO New Music Ensemble, TaikOz, Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra and Michael Kieran Harvey, Stuart is also a member of Decibel New Music (piano/electronics) and Lecturer in composition and music technology at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
