Ed Bennett: Song of the Books

Ed Bennett's Song of the Books - a substantial work in three parts for cello, ensemble and electronics - takes as it’s starting point material from the traditional Irish tune ‘Amhrán na Leabhar’ treating it in radical ways which move far away from the original song whilst retaining some of its familiar ghostly resonances.
